Changes made to the quantity for an item in the Item Packaging Maintenance dialog box are not validated against quantities entered on the Shipping Data Entry Lines tab; therefore, if you make a change to the quantity for an item in the Item Packaging Maintenance dialog box, you should make sure the change is reflected on the Shipping Data Entry Lines tab as well.
To change quantities in a package

1 After changing the quantity for a package in Item Packaging Maintenance, click the Shipping Data Entry Lines tab.

2 At the Item / Kit Number field, enter the item number.

3 At the Current Package field, enter the package number.

4 At the Shipped field, enter the same quantity that you entered in Item Packaging Maintenance for this item and package.

NOTE If you change the quantity at the Shipped field on the Shipping Data Entry Lines tab for an item, the Quantity field in Item Packaging Maintenance changes only if the item is in one box and the package number for the item matches the Current Package field on the Shipping Data Entry Lines tab.

5 Click Accept.
